How it works
Farm2Door is a food delivery service for North Simcoe, currently servicing the municipalities of Penetanguishene, Midland, Tiny and Tay in Ontario.
We are your online farmers market, delivering (or pick up) two times per week: Wednesdays and Saturdays.
You can order 7 days a week, and all orders will automatically be fulfilled (either by delivery or pick-up) on the next available delivery/pick up day following after the day you ordered. (Wednesday or Saturday). Browse through the store, select your items and pay at checkout. Delivery is the first following delivery day, again ONLY for Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay addresses. No same day delivery/pick up.
Pick-up is available at our local food hub at Balm Beach road 159 Perkinsfield between 10am and 1pm. If you are not prepared to make the drive to pick up, please DO NOT select pick-up.
We do recommend that you are home when we deliver. Leaving food outside for lengths of time can jeopardize the quality and flavour. On top of that: Farm2Door practices physical distancing according to COVID-19 health unit guidelines. If you are not at home, or like to take precautionary measures, please provide a porch box (like a cooler) in which we can place your order.
- Please read carefully when ordering special items like CSA-shares (weekly vegetable boxes) or occasional gift packages (like Father's day). These items often come with special instructions which keeps things interesting for all of us :-)
- Local food is not easy. It’s fresh, and superior flavour and nutrition, but not as reliable in supply. Sometimes we need to substitute. We depend on fresh deliveries for a lot of our produce and if deliveries for whatever reason are short (poor harvest/unexpected losses) we will substitute with a similar product from a different supplier. Or, get back to you with a refund.
Thank you for supporting local ~ the love is absolutely mutual!
