Hitchhiker Company consists of a mother and daughter team; Leanne and Brooke. Our great-grandmother made it every summer as a delicious treat and was the envy of the neighbourhood. Her daughter, Doris, carried on the tradition by sharing it with friends and family and taking it with her on some amazing adventures. Doris, who stands proudly on our labels was the inspiration for our name. Born and raised in Ontario, she was a strong and adventurous woman who always enjoyed life to its fullest.
